What an amazing place!! Love the vertical space of the barn and the trees – I’d keep those too! Bet the cats would love to play on them.

Oh Lisa I knew you would love the frieze! I thought of you immediately when I saw it! I will take it to the art history department at UC Santa Barbara and see what they think. I imagine it is Byzantine. definitely the 3 kings. I will let you know. Ms Kitty Wobbles is sure a snuggler. She loves to be loved which we are happy to do. I glanced at you beautiful post last night but I will return and take my time going through your gallery. One day I hope to visit the Biltmore grounds, they are truly beautiful. I’m scrolling down, totally enjoying the stroll through your garden – which is all kinds of magnificent, I must say.
Then…did you hear me squeal with delight at the medieval piece? What a treasure. No idea what it is, but wow!! This post needs a drum roll!

And I so want to snuggle that kitty.

Thank you so much for you kind words. I do love looking at all my goodies and the cats certainly enjoy “playing” with all of it! My mom never felt like she was a beauty, it’s funny how we all do that to ourselves… I sure think she was lovely. Say high to Asheville for me… (and you kitties).

What a layered and lush feast for the eyes! I love that you have all these beautiful things out on display to enjoy, inspire…rather than tucking them away in boxes. How could any cat resist that magic?
